Eindhoven Wildflower Dataset

Annotated dataset with 2002 high-resolution images of wildflowers (patches of approximately 1m2) taken in 5 landscape types (roadsides, urban area’s, cropland, grassland, and marshland) around and in the city of Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
The dataset contains over 65K bounding box annotations and holds 160 flowering plant species. Annotations are created with a strict protocol.

The dataset can be used to develop AI (computer vision) algorithms that can count and identify wildflowers. It can also be used as a reference dataset to benchmark object detection algorithms

Location data of the photos are removed. We do not want to expose the coordinates of rare wildflowers. All photos are taken in public space with free access.
