Abstract
We report about a trajectory of 6 years in developing and improving our platform for learning and applied research on robotics at our University of Applied Sciences (UAS). The platform is driven by our research group to join the Robocup MSL (Middle Size League) competition. The research group has started to work on Robocup MSL with challenges in our regular educational program. After three semesters, we also defined challenges with students participating in an extracurricular project, as well as with students doing their graduation assignment. Currently, we are investigating how to apply the Robot Learning Environment with a self-directed student team also to sustain the learning environment. We look at the factors that affect the sustainability of the Robocup MSL at our UAS.
