Tijdens EMMD 2024 in Noordwijk presenteerde Anne Loonen werk over de identificatie van community state types in cervicale uitstrijken met behulp van een metagenomic NGS-benadering. De bijdrage richtte zich op de relatie tussen het vaginoom, HPV-infectie en cytologische afwijkingen binnen de context van moleculaire diagnostiek en baarmoederhalskankerscreening.
